LaMe. LaMe. NiGhT

It's windy, quiet, late and I'm missing my Husband. You can only check your email, facebook and pinterest so many times in one night. I'm too exhausted to do anything worth while, but I would really like to stay awake long enough to see Landon's face at least once before this day ends.

On my way home from work I went shopping with my mom then went to my sister-in-laws to barrow some cute clothes and waste a little time with the nephew. Good thing Landon sent me a text that he's on his way home, now I only need to keep myself awake for another 30 minutes. I sure wish I could get caught up in a good book, but reading puts me to sleep... I'd probably have better luck turning into a night owl rather than keeping my eyes open long enough to finish one page.

Here's to a REALLY long get ready for bed routine tonight!

BuSy LiFe Of A PhArMaCiSt In TrAinInG!

Is it normal for me to be literally more excited for Landon to be done with school than I was for myself to finish! Yes, of course it is. He's. SO. Busy. I can't wait for us to have more time to spend together not to mention sleep normal hours again.

We're both a little opposite. I like to go to bed at a decent time lets say 10:30 and get up at 6. As soon as we get in bed I want to sleep. Landon likes to get in bed and Talk, Talk, Talk. This results in us staying awake until 11:30 or 12. Landon enjoys staying up late, but really likes to sleep in.
Even though we have more than one shower in our house we still coordinate our wake up times with each other. I get up at 5:35 so that I'm out of the shower and getting ready when he needs to get showered at 5:55. His best sleep I'm sure is during those twenty minutes.

Every night I beg to go to sleep and every morning he wishes we would have... 6 hours is just not enough sleep for either of us.

Seriously though, as busy as Landon is, he rocks the pharmacy school thing. He has passed Every. Single test so far on the first try. Never had to re-asses and still works 10 hours a week. To some people 10 hours might not seem like much, but to work at all while in an accelerated doctorate program is awesome.

Every other week he tests on Friday. If it's a test week he works until 10 on Monday and Tuesday and then Wednesday and Thursday gets home from school between 9:30 and 10:30. You know this kid is busy and dedicated when it's Feb. 10 and he still hasn't gone skiing once.

It's these busy tests weeks when I'm grateful we still live in Utah. I get visit my mom on my way home from work or watch my nephew on my day off and Landon's gone all day. Mostly though I try to fill my time with all the wife things...clean the house, do the laundry, look at pinterest and dream of how I want to decorate my house. (shhh I really should be cooking dinner more often.) That way when Landon is home we both get to relax.

I'm so proud of Landon and right now I can't wait to enjoy his six weeks of summer with him! By then it'll be a great glimpse of how life will be in two years! How soon is too soon to start counting down?

OuR PrImArY ClAsS

Landon and I teach the ctr 4 class. They are all so stinkin' cute and really do behave well. Our primary is so EXTREMELY huge that junior primary is only sunbeams, ctr4 and ctr5 classes. We also have the luxury of teaching in the kitchen.

When we told our class we would be in the kitchen every week they thought it was great. It's a bit more of a challenge to keep everyone quiet though. The kitchen echoes and the chairs tip from side to side because of the tile.

There is a cute little girl in our class that reminds us both of our cute little niece Karaia. She's well behaved, knows all the answers and is just a sweet little girl. She said the prayer on week and asked that her baby would sleep through the night because her mom is really tired and needs good sleep. How cute and caring is that!

It's so nice to have a home and a ward that you know you'll be in for more than a year. We still don't know all of our neighbors. Surprisingly, there are a lot of people along our street that don't go to church. Thanks to the mailman for giving us their mail I was able to meet two neighbors.

Speaking of neighbors....everyone on our street that has children has all girls. The other day as we're sitting on the couch the door bell rings and we don't get visitors that often so we're wondering who it is. I answer it and our cute neighbor girls came to ask if they could play in our big snow pile we had because they want to make a fort. For the next couple of hours our yard had a lot of high pitched squeels!

I can't wait for the nice weather. Maybe all the yard work and being outside will give us the chance to meet a few more of our neighbors.

GrAdUaTeD!

I graduated with my BSN in December...seriously so nice to be done! The ceremony started at 1:00 and I have awesome in-laws that look everyone to lunch before. Right after I walked we all left because we had a wedding luncheon to get to in West Jordan.

It's great to be graduated, but someday I want to go back. It's kind of a dream of mine to be a pediatric NP. However, I think this is a far into the future dream maybe 10-15 years.

My dad took most of the pictures on his camera at my graduation, but here is one of Kim and Me.

This lady is amazing! She started the ADN program at the same time as me and then we both went on to get our Bachelors. She has three kids and just got accepted to nurse anesthesia school.

I had a lot of people tell me that once I graduate I won't have as much free time as I think. It's true. Somehow, all that time I spent on homework has been filled up already.
