LOVE

Being married has made February a lot of fun. We kicked it off by making sugar cookies. Some of the hearts and lips we cut out are a little distorted because the dough stuck to the counter and was hard to get off, but other than that it was a blast. We made pink frosting and way too many cookies!
I put out our valentines decorations..sadly I only have two. I love all the decorations, but I've told myself that as soon as they go on sale after the holiday then I can buy them for next year! On the bright side as the years go on I guess the collection of decorations will multiply. As for February and I things I love:

Long Overdue!

Wow, it sure has been a long time since I've posted anything about us. Quick review of the Holiday's: Landon and I had our first Christmas as a married couple and it was so much fun. He bought me a new coat so that I can go skiing with him and won't complain about being cold. I bought him (really he bought) new skis and then we both agreed on a down comforter as well. Our basement apartment gets pretty cold. We were able to spend time with both of our families and it was perfect. At my parents on Christmas Travis and Moriah told us they were having a baby. I can't believe my mom and dad are going to be grandparents! Even though I love my nieces and nephew this is extra exciting to be a "real" aunt.
New Years was spent playing lots of games at Jim and Candace's with a few of our friends and then before we knew it the break was over and back to school. We had so much fun staying up late, sleeping in and spending time with our families.
Mostly I can't believe January is over. I thought I would never survive working 3 grave yards a week plus school, but I did and it wasn't so bad. Part of me enjoys working at night because I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything since everyone else tends to be sleeping at that time. Yet I missed just laying in bed and talking until we feel asleep. I'm sure Landon enjoyed having the whole bed to himself again.
The second to best thing about precepting was that I really discovered how excited I am to graduate and get a job at a hospital and the very best thing about it was that I got breakfast in bed at least twice a week. What a good husband I have!
