A LiTtLe CHaNgE

Today we said Goodbye to our Jeep. Although I was a little sad thinking about the fact that this was the first car we bought together and it's already sold it was a big relief because....

15 Days ago we bought this Beauty! It's a great feeling to be a two car family again.

Landon's Dream came true and I can't lie..I love it too . I really love having seat warmers. That's by far my favorite part, but the fact that I now get to park in the garage since the truck won't fit is a close second.

The truck was a steal and the timing for getting the jeep sold was perfect! We're completely satisfied with this little change

WiShiNg aNd WaiTiNG...

Landon starting turning in his applications to Pharmacy School and now we're anxiously waiting. We could be waiting for months or years before he gets THE "acceptance" letter. Even if there's no success this year we'll have more options next year. No matter how the waiting turns out I'll probably cry.

If we don't get THE letter I'll cry because for another entire year we'll just be in no-where-land. Waiting to think about life after school, buying a house and knowing for sure this will be our home forever.

If we get THE letter from Oklahoma I'll REALLY cry and there will be few tears of joy. I don't want to move away, only see family a couple times a year and then who knows when we'll be able to come back. I try not to think about it. If it happens, I'll survive somehow, but It'll be hard for me. Of course the thought of having an end in sight will be the few tears of Joy that I have.

Now the biggest wish, I won't even be picky...Just let us get THE letter from the University of Southern Nevada (they have an extension in South Jordan) or the University of Utah. Then I'll cry only tears of joy! We'll be close to family for birthday parties, holidays, Sunday dinners and then we'll be able to find the perfect home and think about when we want to start a family.

I just have to keep reminding myself that whatever is best for us will happen. When the time is right we'll get THE letter we've been waiting for and it'll be from whatever school we're meant to be at.

Landon's worked really hard to get good grades, studied a lot over the summer to get a good PCAT score and hardly complains about leaving for school at 6:30 in the morning...this is something big because Landon is not a morning person. I'm grateful for all of his hard work and dedication. He's the perfect husband and no matter how things turn out or where we end up next year I'm glad we'll be together.

In a Nut Shell

Well...here it is.

In the past month we moved out of our first, fun, cozy (sometimes too cozy during the summer and not cozy enough in the winter), little apartment. Seriously, how do people move after living in one place for more than a year? I was surprised with how much stuff (bookshelves, decorations, pictures) we acquired in just one year. Our first little place together has a lot of funny memories and we might miss is, but that will only be until we get something of our own. As for now we're living at the in-laws and it hasn't been anything to complain about. Infact, I kind of enjoy it.
I haven't seen a single spider, heard any raccoons or had a stereo blasting loud when I'm trying to sleep. I am just a little bit paranoid that whenever I hear something it's a mouse...I saw more than enough mice in the last year.

We had an offer in on a house, but things didn't work out so we'll see where life takes us. We would love to buy a house, but aren't 100% sure if we should...unfortunately (or fortunately-however you look at it) we keep needing to make car repairs and our savings quickly disappears therefore making the decision for us on waiting to look at more houses.

Landon and I were playing soccer on a coed team and we really had a fun time. Our season is over now, but we hope that our schedules will work out so we can play again in the spring. As for right now, we're both busy with school and work.

Summer Fun

We went boating a Bear Lake for a weekend, no sickness this trip, well except for Tennyson, poor kid. It was much better for everyone. Only one injury...I now have 9 toe nails.

We went to the Bee's game with Landon's family, but we both went right from work and forgot the camera. I've never been into baseball, but Landon tries to teach me the rules so that I will. It was super super hot that night and they lost at the very end, but We both got free shirts out of it.

We went boating with friends and my family too.

Sorry about the head taking up most of the picture

Here's Jeremy wakeboarding and then Jeremy with Kayson

Landon and Tyler on the Tube

My family always goes to the Ogden Rodeo..I usually get sick, but this time I took medicine before we left and it was great.

We went to Lagoon with the Turners and had a lot of fun with the little girls. Breckyn wanted to go on every single ride and was really excited for the rocket and then we found out she was too short. She was really bummed that she had to ride flying aces and paratroopers instead. Maybe next year you'll be tall enough Breck.

Last night we went swimming at the Farmington pool with my family. Landon had fun doing front flips of the low dive and double backflips off the high dive..but today he's a little sore.

I love summer! We've had lots of fun and are sad summer is coming to an end.

BiRtHDay!

Landon's birthday was pretty much celebrated for an entire week! Since we were both going to be working on August 7th we decided to celebrate it on the 31st. I gave him a nice, big, gear bag so that he can keep all of his motorcycle stuff together. He went riding, I went to a baby shower and then we were going to go golfing with his parents.

Once again it rained...so we settled with going out to dinner. Thanks Jim and Candace for taking us to Texas Road House. It was delicious.
On the 8th we had dinner with both of our families at the Daly's. My brother's birthday is on the 5th so we did a double celebration. It was a lot of fun to have everyone there! I tried to decorate a cake, nothing spectacular...

I had the idea, Candace made the cake and frosted it, Danica helped me with the water and sand trap and then Jeremy added the Tee box. Thanks for everyone's help, I think you can tell what it is..22 that's rough!

This is the fifth birthday I've celebrated with Landon...doesn't that sound like a lot. Thanks for the money, saws and drill, now we need a house to try them out on..more specifically a house of our own.

Hope you had a fun birthday Landon, I love you.

WaY LaTe!!

2 Months ago is when I should have posted about this, but we've been enjoying summer too much for me to sit down and use the computer. With only a couple more weeks until school starts I figured if I didn't get this done now it might not happen until fall break. here goes...

One year ago we were here

Our first year was full of fun memories. Staying up late laughing in bed and me begging Landon to stop talking so I could fall asleep, the huge spiders and mice, learning how to cook and make time to clean. Dressing Landon and tieing his shoes when he broke his collar bone. Vacation together, spending lots of time with family. Looking forward to Sunday dinners when we go to our Mom and Dad's and get to eat something not from a box. Celebrating our first Christmas together with our own tree and gifts, birthdays, graduation and much more.

To celebrate we started with watching the USA world cup game and then were going to play some golf, go out to eat and just enjoy spending the entire day together. Of course, the weather was pretty windy and rainy so golf was out. Instead we went shopping, what a great husband I have to spend our first anniversary shopping.

I LOVE Red Lobster

I have a good husband who smiles when I tell him to and lets me chose where we eat.

Our first year together was fabulous and I can't wait to see what the next year and the year after that brings. I love my best friend and am so glad this is just the beginning of our eternity together.
