It has been a little busy for the two of us, but I now have time to reminisce about all the fun we've had in the last month.
Thanksgiving was great, we were able to spend it with my family and cousins on my dad's side. We always go to my grandma and grandpa's church so the guys can play basketball. The church was double booked, but everything worked out and we still had a wonderful time. Dinner was delicious and this year I even had a part in the food. I made my first banana cream pies. They are my favorite and now I won't be waiting for next Thanksgiving to roll around before I eat more.
Saturday was a replay of Thanksgiving at the Daly's. We had a lot of fun until the day was interrupted with Landon's injury. Broken. Collar Bone. (He just wants to be like his dad, I guess) We spent a couple hours at instacare and then Landon spent the next couple days in a sling, with out a shirt, in bed.
The next fun event was my brother's wedding. Travis and Moriah got married Dec 5 in the Bountiful Temple. The weather was chilly, but the day was lots of fun. Everything looked beautiful and I'm so happy Moriah is part of the family. She is perfect for Travis!
Last of all
I officially completed my finals today and now I can catch up on everything that hasn't been done for awhile...
laundry
cleaning
dishes
I can say I have vacuumed, but it hasn't been super efficient since I vacuum around a pile of clothes and then move the clothes to vacuum where the pile was.
Landon and I deep cleaned right before Thanksgiving and good thing we did because now that I'm the only one who can keep up on everything around here it has gotten pretty messy due to lack of time and motivation since I was more worried about finishing up the semester. Last week I came home from work to find Danica here with the girls keeping Landon company and bringing us dinner (thanks Danica it was delicious), but I was really embarrassed about how horrible this place looked. We don't get visitors so as bothersome as the mess was I just tried to ignore it. Let it be known...if anyone plans on visiting during the semester I need a couple hours notice. As for the next couple weeks this place will be clean, or that's the goal anyway. I miss Landon's functioning left arm!
